Job description

A fast-scaling startup that is building a financial exchange (Alternative Trading System) on blockchain to trade real assets is looking for a Full-Stack Engineer. The engineer would be responsible for developing transformative UI components, software features, and data pipelines to create an immersive experience for the end user. The company aims to build a platform where users can make high-speed trades in a comfortable environment. Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement highly responsive UI components with no lag in performing actions
  • Understand data requirements to define and implement specs for front and back-end APIs
  • Replicate designs beyond bootstrap components by understanding the mock design’s look and feel
  • Write clean, efficient, scalable, and testable code that can be reused by others
  • Create API interfaces that improve user experience and meet front-end requirements
  • Optimize database queries and server response times with a low latency response time

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a Full-Stack Developer
  • Deep knowledge of reactive concepts and single-page applications
  • Comprehensive experience in JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and similar front-end languages
  • Proficient in the libraries, frameworks, and tech stacks related to Python, JavaScript, and React
  • Experience working with serverless platforms
  • Competent in building data pipelines to extract data required to build and derive value
  • Familiarity with production environments and everything that they entail (error handling, logging, metrics, etc)
  • Design patterns and microservices-based architecture experience
  • Ability to make tradeoffs between solutions and product impact to deliver results
  • Good understanding of data streaming, processing, modeling, and storage
  • Previous experience with at least one deep-learning framework
  • Excellent English communication skills
