Job description

A well-established company that is developing next-gen gaming software and disruptive technology for the Trading Card Game (TCG) industry, is looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for keeping track of, updating, and resolving any problems with project dependencies. The company addresses the issues that creators in the cutthroat TCG market have with their digital experiences, community building, product manufacture, and delivery. This is an exciting opportunity for developers who are self-starters and enjoy building software from the ground up.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Design, create, test, release, manage, and enhance React features and components
  • Drive and participate in the creation of new development capabilities
  • Take responsibility for and encourage the use of React services and agile development technologies in the software development industry
  • Influence cross-functional teams by communicating and sharing technological ideas and solutions
  • Impact the engineering team's culture and set an example for your other coworkers by doing so
  • Determine lifecycle framework bottlenecks and aggressively offer remedies
  • Create unit tests and clean, effective, and maintainable code
  • Acquire, compile, and distribute team knowledge of best practices
  • Collaborate with different development teams throughout the engineering organization
  • Provide guidance to other engineers on the team and collaborate with engineering management to create engineering standards

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack engineer
  • 5+ years of experience building software solutions
  • Prolific experience with TypeScript and NodeJS application design and development
  • Extensive experience with React and common tools used in the wider React ecosystem
  • Solid understanding of Node.js, Webpack, Redux, and Yarn
  • Familiarity with Git
  • Strong understanding of database technologies like MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc. 
  • Demonstrable knowledge of NoSQL Stores like Redis, Firestore, MongoDB, and Elasticsearch
  • Strong understanding of Cloud Deployment using GCP or AWS
  • Prior experience building and managing RESTful APIs
  • Ability to work well with loose requirements in an agile environment
  • Interest and passion for building customer-centric software
  • An interest in TCG or Gaming is nice to have
  • Excellent spoken and written English communication skills
