Job description

A U.S.-based company on a mission to instantly connect with top tutors who can provide an amazing learning experience is looking for a Senior Full-Stack Back-End Focused Developer. The selected candidate will be responsible for implementing and promoting Agile and rapid iteration approaches. The company provides truly customized, highly effective, and pleasingly useful sessions in over 3,000 subjects. The company has managed to raise more than $100 mn in funding.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Implement and advocate rapid iteration and agile approaches to software development
  • Maintain high performance and compatibility across platforms
  • Be a full-fledged contributor and help cross-functional teams
  • Build self-contained, reusable, and testable code

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a software developer
  • Expertise in Golang and AWS
  • Knowledge of Python and Lambda is nice to have
  • Experience in Postgres and DynamoDB
  • Proficiency in English
