Job description

A rapidly-emerging company that is reimagining the pet boarding and daycare service industry is looking for a Senior Full-Stack Developer. The developer will be mentoring and assisting engineers as well as cross-functional teams in proffering solutions to development problems. The company is dedicated to giving pleasant days and happy stays for pets by providing the utmost care and respect for all animals. This is an exciting opportunity for developers who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment while contributing to a good cause. 

  

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work with a lead developer on projects to scope requirements and provide a backlog for the team to work through
  • Using Laravel8 and Vue.js, create cloud computing software and API integrations to achieve set goals
  • Stay up-to-date with new technology and proactively identify new opportunities and areas for improvement
  • Provide technical leadership to junior developers and constructive criticism to help the team grow 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 4-5+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack developer
  • Extensive experience in Laravel 8, Php74, Vue 2, MySQL and Vuetify
  • Working experience with Google App Engine
  • Prior experience with developing integrations such as Stripe and Customer.io
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluent in verbal and written English
