Job description

A rapidly-growing company that is equipping the next generation of professionals with the skills they need to change the world, is looking for a Senior Full-Stack Developer. The developer will be collaborating with cross-function teams on the various layers of the infrastructure for our web and mobile apps. The US-based company is providing an efficient marketplace for after school enrichment programs. The company has managed to raise $98K+ during their Series A round of funding.

Job Responsibilities:

Create the web application's overall architecture
Maintain the application's quality and responsiveness
Design and launch new features in collaboration with the rest of the technical team
Maintain the integrity and organization of the code
Examine the PRs of other members of the development team

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
At least 5-10+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack developer
Experience working with graphic designers and converting designs to visual elements
Excellent knowledge of all stages of software development
Solid understanding and experience implementing security and data protection
Extensive knowledge of ReactJS libraries used in design frameworks including Foundation and Bootstrap
Prolific knowledge of Styled components and CSS extensions like SASS to provide improved modularity and power
Experience working with JavaScript language, Typescript, React.js, and Next.js
Demonstrable experience with React Native and Create React App (React-scripts) Frameworks
Prior experience developing for both mobile and desktop
Strong understanding of Node.js as the server-side language, Apollo GraphQL, sequelize as ORM, and Github as code versioning tool
In-depth knowledge of PostgreSQL database and Integration testing
Nice to have any additional programming language
Fluent in both written and spoken English communication
