Job description

A rapidly-growing company that is equipping the next generation of professionals with the skills they need to change the world, is looking for a Senior Full-Stack Developer. The developer will be collaborating with cross-function teams on the various layers of the infrastructure for our web and mobile apps. The US-based company is providing an efficient marketplace for after school enrichment programs. The company has managed to raise $98K+ during their Series A round of funding. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Create the web application's overall architecture
  • Maintain the application's quality and responsiveness
  • Design and launch new features in collaboration with the rest of the technical team
  • Maintain the integrity and organization of the code
  • Examine the PRs of other members of the development team

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5-10+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack developer
  • Experience working with graphic designers and converting designs to visual elements
  • Excellent knowledge of all stages of software development
  • Solid understanding and experience implementing security and data protection
  • Extensive knowledge of ReactJS libraries used in design frameworks including Foundation and Bootstrap
  • Prolific knowledge of Styled components and CSS extensions like SASS to provide improved modularity and power
  • Experience working with JavaScript language, Typescript, React.js, and Next.js
  • Demonstrable experience with React Native and Create React App (React-scripts) Frameworks
  • Prior experience developing for both mobile and desktop
  • Strong understanding of Node.js as the server-side language, Apollo GraphQL, sequelize as ORM, and Github as code versioning tool
  • In-depth knowledge of PostgreSQL database and Integration testing
  • Nice to have any additional programming language 
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English communication
