Job description

A US-based company building a revolutionary finance application that enables users to invest in local businesses, is looking for a Senior Full-Stack Developer. The selected candidate will be responsible for building out efficient finance infrastructures for the platform. Users and investors can utilize the company's service to find profitable businesses that are selling bonds on the market. During their Seed round, the company managed to securely raise more than $15mn in funding. This will be a long-term, full-time position that requires some overlap with the CST time zone. 

  

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop new user-facing features for the company’s website 
  • Build reusable code and libraries for future implementation 
  • Implement microservices architecture on the company’s platform 
  • Ensure the technical feasibility and responsiveness of UI/UX design on the website 
  • Optimize the web application for maximum speed and reliability 
  • Ensure that all user inputs are authenticated before being submitted to the back-end
  • Collaborate with other team members and relevant stakeholders to suggest improvements 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3-5+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack developer 
  • Prolific experience in REST/RESTful APIS, Algorithms and Data Structures, HTML and TailwindCSS
  • Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design is preferred but not required 
  • Must have knowledge of differences between multiple delivery platforms and optimizing them for responsiveness 
  • Demonstrable experience in building server-side templating languages is a plus 
  • Solid grasp of cross-browser compatibility issues and solutions to resolve them 
  • Prior experience resolving server-side and client-side rendering issues 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Fluent in verbal and written English
