Job description

A fast-growing company that is building a smarter digital wallet for individuals who utilize multiple credit cards, is looking for a Senior Full-Stack Developer. The selected candidate will be reporting directly to the CTO and will be working closely with the Product, Growth, and Design teams. The US-based company helps users to maximize their credit card rewards, cashback, and benefits. During the Seed round, the company managed to raise $3mn+ in funding. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Create and improve app functionality and back-end systems
  • Existing code should be troubleshot, debugged, and refactored
  • Review and provide feedback on code from other engineers on the team
  • Assist in the upkeep of the engineering wiki and other developer resources
  • Assist with the development of the Engineering team
  • Work without close monitoring or day-to-day guidance
  • Think outside the box and come up with amazing solutions to difficult issues
  • Easily learn and apply new concepts
  • Understand the importance of the data the company manages and implement security best practices into your code and behavior
  • Strive to create enchanted user experiences

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 4+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack developer
  • A solid understanding of current JavaScript and Typescript 
  • At least 4 years of experience developing Node.js applications is required
  • At least 2 years of experience developing Go applications/services
  • At least 4 years of experience working with MongoDB is required
  • At least 2 years of experience developing apps for iOS and Android is required
  • Know the best practices for mobile app and web security
  • Experience deploying and managing applications on AWS or a comparable cloud provider
