Senior Full-Stack Developer

A fast-growing ed-tech company that is revolutionizing the industry with their innovative solutions is looking for a Senior Back-End-Focused Full-Stack Engineer. The selected candidate will be working closely on building advanced AI technologies. The live learning platform connects students and professionals with personalized instruction for any subject, on-demand. During their Series C round, the company managed to raise more than $100mn in funding. This will be a full-time, long-term opportunity that requires a 6+ hours overlap with the PST time zone.

Job Responsibilities:

• Critically analyze end-to-end designs for strengths and weaknesses
• Implement security and data protection practices
• Write readable, clean, and efficient codes
• Implement the best coding practices across the development process
• Identify tech debt and make recommendations to tackle them

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack or back-end developer
• Prolific knowledge working with AWS related technologies
• Expertise in Golang or Python is required
• Nice to have some knowledge of Node and React
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills
• Fluent in English, both conversational and written
