Job description

A fast-growing company that is on a mission to provide excellent financial accessibility to customers with limited access to banking, is looking for a Senior Full-Stack Developer. The developer will be responsible for running diagnostic tests, fixing flaws, and offering technical assistance. By facilitating the secure exchange of first-party, non-traditional, consumer-consented data with lenders, the U.S.-based company aims to make credit available to everyone. This is a nice opportunity for candidates who are determined to help transform the FinTech industry while working with a team of professionals.

Job Responsibilities:

Examine the interface designs and application requirements
Make use of test-driven development and write unit test cases
Utilizing innovative ideas, create and develop extremely responsive user interface components
Implement reliable security procedures, data security safeguards, and archiving methods

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack developer
Extensive experience working with JavaScript and Swift
Prolific experience with Amazon Redshift, or PostgreSQL, or MySQL
5+ years of practical experience developing marketplaces
Proven experience completing challenging marketplace projects
Nice to have prior Telco/Fintech enterprise
Prior experience creating and improving progressive web applications for better user experiences
Thorough knowledge of CloudFront for content delivery and performance improvement
Working knowledge of relational databases, especially Amazon RDS, and the ability to create effective data models
Some knowledge of Kotlin is desirable
Ability to develop scalable microservices with Micronaut to improve application performance
Extensive experience with CI/CD procedures and knowledge of DevOps tools
Strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to function well both individually and as a member of a team
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work well with a variety of stakeholders
Fluent in written and spoken English
