Job description

A fast-growing company that is working on a cutting-edge solution that will enable payments without credit card fees and provide loyalty programs, is looking for a Senior Full-Stack Back-End-Heavy Developer. The developer will be responsible for creating efficient test cases and test plans. Customers can benefit from store credit rewards for using their payment system thanks to the company's integration with platforms like Shopify. This is a great opportunity for candidates who are eager to challenge themselves and tackle multifaceted problems.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Participate in daily engineering standups and work in tight cooperation with the current team
  • Make sure the stack as a whole is built and designed for performance and scalability
  • Help with all actions that are required to get a feature or product from concept to production, such as design, implementation, validation, and production issue debugging
  • Create technical specifications and take part in architecture and design reviews

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack or back-end developer
  • Extensive API writing experience
  • Working knowledge of both SQL and NoSQL databases
  • Proficiency in TypeScript back-end development and Node.js
  • Demonstrable experience working with Flutter
  • Some familiarity with front-end technologies like React and Angular
  • In-depth knowledge of fundamental DevOps and infrastructure best practices, including cloud function deployment, hosting, and IAM privilege management
  • Prior experience working with API development
  • Nice to have some experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Familiarity with Firestore (NoSQL DB), Google Hosting, and Google Cloud functions is desirable
  • Excellent spoken and written English communication skills
