Senior Front-End Engineer

A NASDAQ-listed company that is bringing game-changing technology to the automobile industry is looking for a Senior Front-End Engineer. The selected candidate will be in charge of utilizing a wide range of systems and technologies to resolve end-to-end problems. The company is developing sustainable solutions that will help to reduce carbon footprints. The company has managed to raise $10.5bn+ in funding so far. 

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in building user-friendly web applications
• Contribute across different stages of delivery, including design, development, testing, and support
• Collaborate with the product team, and major stakeholders fully understand and communicate progress
• Understand requirements and develop responsive solutions for web applications
• Maintain and optimize applications for maximum performance

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a front-end engineer
• Ability to build front-end applications for integrating with back-end microservices
• Must be at least 3 years of experience in working with JavaScript CSS, HTML, Angular, React, Vue
• Experience in working with technologies like GraphQL will be helpful
• Ability to use Git or Bitbucket for source code management is necessary
• Must be able to work in an Agile environment and own efforts to achieve positive outcomes
• Must possess a thorough understanding of the entire web development processes
• Familiarity with front-end testing frameworks like Jasmine, Jest, etc.
• Experience in working on responsive and cross-platform designs
• Well versed in UI/UX design and layout best practices
• Familiarity with server-side CSS pre-processing platforms like LESS and SASS is preferred
• Proficiency in languages like Webpack, Apollo, and Typescript will be helpful
