Job description

A rapidly-growing company that is determined to establish innovative sports and digital entertainment platform is looking for a Senior Front-End Developer. The developer will be helping to form and maintain engineering standards, tooling, and processes across the organization. The company is fusing technology with customer insight to provide sports fans with a better, more rewarding, and engaging experience. This is a nice opportunity for developers who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Be focused on ensuring that gaming platforms deliver a first-class experience to consumers 
  • Build great products with the best tools
  • Work hand-in-glove with the delivery and run company’s products
  • Participate in daily brainstorming sessions 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a front-end developer 
  • 5+ years of experience in CSS3, SCSS, JavaScript, Typescript, Angular, WebSockets, and Service workers 
  • At least 3+ years of experience working on highly accessible and distributed web applications 
  • Solid understanding of design patterns, OOP, and architectural patterns like MVP, MVVM, and Clean Architecture 
  • Prolific CI/CD understanding including unit tests, test automation, GIT, and Gitflow 
  • Experience working with remote data via RESTful APIs and JSON formats 
  • Prior experience with headless content management systems 
  • Demonstrable experience in profiling and debugging Android apps, Unit and UI testing 
  • Solid experience using Grunt, and Webpack would be a plus 
  • Experience with ASP.Net and C# is nice to have
  • Good understanding of networking essentials, including TCP/IP, routing, and DNS 
  • Expertise in working with JIRA and Confluence 
  • Ability to work well in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and to pick up new skill sets quickly 
  • Passion for detail and problem solving
  • Hyper-growth start-up experience is a strong plus 
  • Fluent in verbal and written English communication
