Job description

A rapidly-growing company that has managed to build an efficient online delivery platform and system is looking for a Senior Flutter Engineer. The engineer will be expected to take operational responsibility and own the built components. The quick commerce company is on a mission to help users have their groceries and household essentials delivered within 15 minutes at any time of the day. The company has managed to raise $4.5mn+ in funding so far. This will be a full-time position and an excellent opportunity for developers to showcase their skills. 

  

Job Responsibilities:

  • Build high-performance and reliable codes that will help the service to make doorstep deliveries in 15 minutes around the clock
  • Drive end-to-end development processes, including design, implementation, automated testing, monitoring, maintenance
  • Take responsibility for developing codes you own and improve our codebase with your presence
  • Work alongside engineers, designers, and product managers for developing customer-facing products
  • Participate in peer code reviews and make sure the team is delivering secure quality software

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a Flutter engineer
  • Thorough understanding of Flutter and Dart and its application lifecycle, UI rendering, and animations
  • Must possess experience in remote work, self-discipline, and the ability to work autonomously
  • Expertise in building cross-platform Flutter apps and publishing them on the Google PlayStore and Apple AppStore
  • Must possess familiarity with State Management Patterns (Bloc or similar)
  • Must be able to write high-quality, performance, and maintainable codes
  • Experience in working with version control systems (Git preferred).
  • Experience working with native technologies Android/iOS, and its libraries, e.g., location services, maps, and other common libraries
  • Experience with production monitoring, tracking, and A/B test tools (Firebase or similar)
  • Familiarity with storage, threading, and performance tuning
