Senior Data Scientist

A US-based company providing strategic transportation solutions to businesses in order to promote key stakeholders in the logistics ecosystem is looking for a Senior Data Scientist. The selected candidate will be working with the Route Optimization team and must have prior experience working with route optimization algorithms. Job Responsibilities:

• Plan, build, and design solutions with a mental note of future requirements 
• Analyze website performance and drive improvements 
• Coordinate with the development team to manage fixes and code changes
• Analyze and enhance the performance of the applications
• Identify, prioritize and execute tasks in the software development life cycle

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 3-5+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
• Proven track record of Data Science expertise using Python
• Extensive experience with Machine Learning, SQL, and Algorithm and Data Structures
• Experience with graph algorithms and graph databases
• Understanding of machine-learning and operations research
• High-level knowledge of SQL databases and third party API’s
• Excellent ability to think analytically with solid business acumen
• Outstanding math skills (e.g., statistics, algebra) and problem-solving abilities 
• Profound communication and presentation skills
• Sound English proficiency is a must
