Senior Data Scientist

A fintech company that helps real estate participants to close mortgages is looking for a Senior Data Scientist. As a Senior Data Scientist, you will be responsible for building machine learning models to support the company's core products. The company is on a mission to provide the perfect mortgage closing experience with efficiency and transparency. It has raised a funding of over $250 mn so far. Job Responsibilities:

• Build Machine Learning models to support core products of the company 
• Improve performance of document classification and annotation prediction models.
• Evaluate and prototype new applications for ML
• Perform exploratory analysis on new product areas
• Create and support production quality machine learning models
• Organize disparate data sources for machine learning work
• Drive high impact projects throughout the organization

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 4+ years of relevant experience as a Data Scientist
• Good understanding of advanced Machine Learning techniques
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and cloud technologies like AWS
• Experience with Computer Vision, NLP, and or Deep Learning
• Strong analytical and mentoring skills to take ownership of the projects
• Fluent English communication skills to collaborate with engineering managers
