Senior Backend-heavy Fullstack Engineer (3)

A fast-growing company is looking to hire a Senior Backend-heavy Fullstack Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for building quality applications with a focus on appealing visual designs. The ideal candidate is expected to have a self-driven initiative to solve and develop creative and sophisticated solutions. This is a full-time position for those who would like to join the team and grow rapidly in their careers. It requires at least 4+ hours of time overlap with PST.

Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the development team to ideate software solutions
• Design client and server-side architecture
• Build front-end applications through appealing visual design trends
• Write effective APIs and test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software
• Create security and data protection solutions
• Ensure completed projects meet and exceed campaign goals
• Communicate openly and effectively with openness in supporting and educating clients to understand solutions and practices

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics (or equivalent experience)
• Professional experience in a development position
• Experience developing in PHP, Node.js, Java, and Python
• Knowledge with experience of Linux/Unix shell environments
• Experience with front-end web technologies (JavaScript, CSS, HTML)
• Experience in developing responsive desktop and mobile-friendly designs
• Ability to implement modern and efficient high traffic scalable applications
• Capable of working both self-sufficiently and as a team player
• Familiarity with both relational and NoSQL databases (MySQL, MongoDB)
• Knowledge of advanced networking concepts
• Proficiency with Kubernetes and Docker
• Strong knowledge and experience working with Google Cloud, Amazon Web Services products, and other cloud environments
