Job description

A rapidly-growing US-based company helping businesses reach their full market potential by connecting clients with those offering impressive solutions, is looking for a Senior Back-End Ruby Engineer. The engineer will be interfacing with the analytics, design, and back-end technologies to improve the company’s application. They have managed to raise more than $9 mn during the Series A round of funding. This will be a full-time role and a good opportunity for developers to work in a collaborative environment and experience career growth. It requires a time overlap with PST.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Scale existing back-end systems to cope with increasing amounts of traffic and new product requirements
  • Contribute to the code management, quality, organization, automation, and ensure continuous delivery
  • Troubleshoot issues in a timely manner to ensure the stability of the platform
  • Manage and maintain workflows, solve technical problems and provide innovative solutions across the stack

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a back-end engineer
  • Solid coding expertise
  • Must have experience in Ruby on Rails and web services
  • Proficiency in Python is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of data science, ElasticSearch, and MongoDB is nice to have
