Job description

A fast-growing company that is utilizing the power of modern AI technology to build customer support automation solutions, is looking for a Senior Back-End Python Engineer. The engineer will analyze product and technical user stories and clearly and concisely communicate technical specifications. By using guided automated procedures that leave little room for error and decrease the need for QA, the company enables agents to deliver consistent experiences. This position requires 5+ hours of overlap with the PST time zone. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Recognize the value of developing and deploying swiftly
  • Help the team in building the AI-powered customer agent
  • Participate in sprint planning and technical design reviews, offering feedback when necessary
  • When required, collaborate with product managers, the customer team, and other team members

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a back-end engineer
  • Extensive experience working with Python, PostgreSQL, and Django
  • Demonstrable experience and knowledge of Machine Learning
  • Ability to operate comfortably in a start-up environment
  • Fluent in spoken and written English communication
