Job description

A fast-growing company that is helping businesses to provide delivery as a service and grow their restaurant’s margins, is looking for a Senior Back-End Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for planning, building, and designing solutions with a mental note of future requirements. The company's innovative technology enables users to build a unified management system that aggregates phone orders as well as orders from the website and integrates them with all the most popular delivery apps. This is an exciting opportunity for developers who are eager to make their mark on the industry. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work on a variety of high-impact features for the company’s restaurant dashboard
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance customer experience 
  • Maintain company’s internal site to manage daily operations 
  • Develop high-quality code and libraries to be deployed in future projects 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a back-end engineer
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, PostgreSQL, and Node.js
  • Experience working with distributed systems is a plus 
  • Nice to have experience with MongoDB and RDBMS 
  • Messaging broker server experience is a plus 
  • AWS platform experience is a bonus 
  • Prolific experience with RabbitMQ, TimescaleDB, and React Native
  • Experience with AWS
  • Fluent in verbal and written English
