Job description

A U.S.-based company that focuses on helping care givers and clinical researchers to quantify and enhance mental and behavioral health is looking for a Senior Back-End Engineer. The selected candidate will be responsible for the system scalability and creating the microservice architecture. The company uses machine learning to transform daily behavior into complex insights that can forecast negative events before they occur. This will be a long-term and full-time role. The company has managed to raise more than $13 mn in funding. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Create back-end APIs and functionalities
  • Use a holistic, test-oriented approach to troubleshoot and upgrade the application
  • Help enhance the systems and work on the microservice architecture development
  • Integrate front-end elements with server-side logic and functionalities

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
  • Knowledge of AWS and Python
  • Familiarity with Fast API and EC2 is a plus
  • Experience with S3 and Lambda is nice to have
  • Proficiency in English
