Job description

A U.S.-based company developing an effective Christian meditation and prayer app is looking for a Senior Back-End Engineer. The selected candidate will be working in close collaboration with cross-functional teams to build easy-to-understand solutions. The company is building an app that aims to inspire deeper spiritual connections within the Christian community. This is an exciting opportunity for developers who enjoy working on unique applications and technologies. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Generate reusable code libraries for future implementation and use 
  • Evaluate business requirements and deliver scalable results within the team 
  • Improve the engineering processes to increase team effectiveness
  • Develop scalable, highly responsive, and detailed stacks

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a back-end engineer
  • Extensive experience in Go, MongoDB, Kubernetes, and GCP
  • Fluent in verbal and written English
