Job description

A fast-paced company whose contemporary audio and web series are transforming the entertainment business is looking for a Senior Back-End Engineer. The selected candidate will be responsible for combining front-end components with server-side functionality. The company engages readers by writing reviews of the newest films and television shows, using narrative journalism, and conducting social experiments. This will be an amazing opportunity for developers who are eager to work with a team of professionals.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the team to write automation tests, understand requirements, build solutions, deliver functionality, and build continuous delivery pipelines
  • Integrate front-end elements with server-side logic and functionality
  • Effectively collaborate with product teams and engineering professionals to meet product requirements and build innovative solutions
  • Use a holistic, test-oriented approach to troubleshoot and upgrade the application

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3-5+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
  • Knowledge of Node.js
  • Familiarity with Python and Machine Learning is a plus
  • Excellent English communication skills
