Job description

A NASDAQ-listed company manufacturing a world-class range of electric vehicles to transform the transportation and automation industry is looking for a Senior Back-End Engineer. The engineer will be tasked with driving the development and roadmap of future products and features. The company is determined to build a better future by offsetting the carbon footprint and developing sustainable solutions. The company has managed to securely raise $10.5 bn+ in funding so far. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Generate reusable code libraries for future implementation
  • Gather business requirements and advocate for engineering best practices 
  • Improve the software processes to increase team effectiveness
  • Develop scalable, responsive, and highly detailed stacks

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3-5+ years of relevant experience as a back-end engineer
  • Extensive experience in AWS services such as Cloudwatch and AWS Lambdas
  • Prolific experience in Nodejs, DocumentDB and/or MongoDB
  • Prior experience in Typescript and Java 
  • Nice to have experience in GraphQL
  • Experience in AWS CDK IaC and GraphQL query is nice to have 
  • Demonstrable experience in Apollo server and Python programming is a plus
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
  • Fluent in verbal and written English
