Senior Back-End Engineer

A rapidly-growing sports and digital entertainment platform on a mission to revolutionize the entertainment industry is looking for a Senior Back-End Engineer. The selected candidate will be expected to provide extensively tested and elevated services. Job Responsibilities:

• Make certain that everything is not only designed for the present but also for future growth
• Deliver excellent solutions proven to meet the needs of product managers, designers, and colleagues in support and operations
• Be in charge of the gaming products, ensuring that they are highly resilient, have extremely low latency, and can scale to massive volumes
• Accept responsibility for the software testing and the overall output quality, ensuring it is fast, frequent, and effective
• Check that everything is working properly and identify problems to solve
• Strive to improve the solutions, making sure the technical and use case documentation is excellent and up to date
• Engage with other teams and users across the organization to enhance and broaden the platform's capabilities
• Analyze data and insight from multiple sources to draw informed conclusions
• Stay on top of trends and apply the knowledge to derive the best out of teams and systems  

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 5+ years of relevant experience in production software engineering and delivery 
• 3+ years of experience working on distributed, high-volume transactional systems 
• Must have an expert level understanding of C#, SQL Server, REST, and GIT, and an ideally good experience with .Net Core 
• 2+ years of experience working with messaging technologies (preferably Kafka) and cloud-based implementations (preferably Azure) 
• Strong experience working with both RDBMS and NoSQL technologies 
• Experience working with remote teams and hyper-growth start-ups is nice to have
• Expertise with containerization technologies is preferred
• Ability to work well in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and quickly pick up new skill sets 
• Proficiency in English
