Job description

A rapidly-growing company building an employee volunteering and CSR management system, among other services, is looking for a Senior Back-End Engineer. The engineer will be in charge of optimizing the application for faster execution and solving scalability issues. The company is determined to help businesses give back to the community and do more good with their holistic management services. Job Responsibilities:

  • Learn everything there is to know about the startup ecosystem
  • Create customer-facing technology products for a global audience
  • Own the back-end development of the product, creating reusable, testable, and scalable code
  • Technical requirements must be researched, evaluated, analyzed, and implemented
  • Collaborate with product management teams to define and implement innovative product direction, visuals, and experience solutions
  • Deliver scalable, bug-free, and testable production-grade code
  • Take charge of end-to-end deliveries, right from requirements to release
  • Guide and mentor junior team members 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a back-end developer
  • 1+ years of experience with Node.js and building microservices is a must
  • 3+ years of experience building scalable products and distributed applications products/services are required
  • Knowledge of NoSQL database services, e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB, etc., and related tools with the expertise to create efficient schemas is a must
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process is required
  • Must have experience with MongoDB, NoSQL databases and DynamoDB
  • Excellent coding and problem-solving skills
