Job description

A US-based company that helps businesses and users to turn websites into members-only sites, dashboards, web apps, and intranets, is looking for a Senior Back-End Engineer. The selected candidate will be in charge of developing features for tens of thousands of clients and potentially millions of users. The company is developing a SaaS application that allows businesses to quickly integrate secure user accounts and payments. They have managed to successfully raise $1.8mn+ during their Seed round of funding. 

  

Job Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership and ensure the long-term success of new products 
  • Raise the bar on code quality and end-user experience
  • To gather and arrange requirements, communicate with cross-functional teams
  • Create unique features and goods
  • Make recommendations for engineering lifecycle best practices and patterns

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3-5 years of relevant experience as a back-end engineer
  • Demonstrable experience working with Typescript/JavaScript, Node.js, Stripe API, and PostgreSQL
  • Familiarity with GraphQL, React, and APIs is desirable
  • Nice to have prior startup experience
