Job description

A rapidly-growing company building an advanced platform that systematizes and streamlines the entire Third-Party Risk Management lifecycle is looking for a Senior Back-End Engineer. The engineer will be working with a great engineering team to solve complex problems, analyze website performance, and drive improvements. The company interfaces with third-party risk management tools and automates a lot of the human work. They have managed to raise more than $8mn during their Seed round of funding. 

  

Job Responsibilities:

  • Be involved in all stages of production, including architecture, design, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance
  • Take responsibility for all aspects of the product, including coding back-end, front-end, infrastructure, testing, and production maintenance
  • Take ownership of various parts of the technology stack, becoming the focal point and technical leader of those technologies, even with ambiguity

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • 7+ years of experience in Java, C#, Python, or equivalent
  • Strong understanding of Web standards and protocols such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and HTTP
  • Experience with at least one of the cloud vendors listed below: GCP/AWS/Azure
  • Experience with unit testing, agile project development, and bug and change management systems is preferred
  • Willingness and enthusiasm to learn Go programming language
  • Experience with Python, Go, GCP, gRPC, and Python web frameworks like Flask, Django, or FastAPI is nice to have
  • Experience working in a startup company will be appreciated
  • Experience with Graph databases is a major advantage
  • Experience working with enterprise customers is nice to have 
  • Experience with DevOps will be a bonus
  • Proven track record of developing and supporting microservices or distributed systems-based products
  • Capability to design, research, and implement large-scale projects
  • Be self-sufficient, self-motivated, and a genuine team player
