Job description

A well-established company reimagining the supply chain management industry by providing businesses with new development and scaling opportunities is looking for a Senior Back-End Engineer. The selected candidate will be responsible for analyzing the existing infrastructure/features.products and recommending scalable improvements. The company’s revolutionary cloud-based technology is all set to bring about the imminent change in the global supply chain sector. This will be a full-time, long-term role that requires some overlap with the EST time zone. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Write unit tests and build reusable codes and libraries for future use 
  • Document the codebase and engage in the knowledge sharing process with other engineers 
  • Participate in design and code reviews, as well as mentor other members of the team
  • Rewrite existing code to ensure compliance with specified guidelines

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 7+ years of relevant experience as a back-end engineer
  • 7-8+ years of experience working extensively with Python
  • Strong background in SQL and related technologies
  • Demonstrated experience working with Terraform
  • Nice to have some knowledge of AWS Lambda
