Senior Back-End Engineer

A well-established company that is leveraging the power of AI and Machine Learning to help businesses streamline their marketing communications is looking for a Senior Back-End Engineer. The engineer will be tasked with analyzing and enhancing the performance of the platform and its product. The Silicon Valley-based company provides users with more personalized, targeted strategies that will help businesses increase their scale and effectiveness. So far, the company has managed to raise more than $950K in funding. This will be a long-term, full-time position that will require some overlap with the IST time zone.

Job Responsibilities:

• Help shape culture and build the workplace of your dreams
• Collaborate with a team of full-stack and front-end developers to design, develop, and maintain web-based applications
• Write well-documented, clean, testable code
• Manage the full lifecycle of the product from design to documentation

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 4+ years of relevant experience as a back-end engineer
• Extensive experience working with Java, Spring, Hibernate, and RESTful
• Nice to have some knowledge of SQL/MySQL, Maven/Gradle, CI/CD, Jenkins, Git, and Docker
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills
• Fluent in English, both conversational and written
