Job description

A US-based company that is building a highly curated network to help D2C brands sell more, is looking for a Senior Back-End Engineer. The developer will be responsible for understanding end-user requirements and executing effective technical solutions. The platform enables brands to discover and sell complementary products from like-minded suppliers. This is a nice opportunity for developers who reflect high standards of engineering and possess the ability to implement precise and high-quality decisions.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Take charge of integrating front-end with server-side resources and functionalities
  • Work alongside product and engineering teams professionals, including Front-end engineers
  • Fine-tune services for quicker execution and resolve scalability issues
  • Implement best practices for security and data protection practices

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a back-end developer
  • 5+ years of experience working with Python and Django
  • Familiarity with automated testing and version control tools
  • Basic front-end development knowledge
  • Knowledge of algorithms and data structures
  • Analytical mindset and strong communication skills
