Job description

A US-based SaaS provider that has developed industry-leading management tools to make audition and casting processes more effective, is looking for a Senior Back-End Engineer. The selected candidate will take full ownership of the services they are building while working in close collaboration with the existing team. The company has established itself as the industry leader by providing advanced technological solutions that cater to the entertainment industry's casting and auditioning requirements. Job Responsibilities:

  • Work with cross-functional teams to solve complex problems 
  • Write clean, efficient, and reusable codes 
  • Contribute to building a scalable platform, employing engineering’s best practices
  • Make key decisions and suggest innovative solutions to drive the product forward
  • Build scalable, low latency, and highly performant services

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 8+ years of relevant experience as a back-end engineer
  • 4+ years of experience working with Node.js and related technologies
  • Extensive experience with Typescript, AWS stacks, and Nest.js frameworks
  • Production experience working with Apollo GraphQL Server.
  • Proficiency in data access layer with a focus on the ability to work with stored procedure and PostgreSQL
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English
