Job description

A US-based AI solution provider is looking for a Senior Back-end Engineer to join their team of developers. The selected candidate is expected to be a self-starter who can own up responsibilities and work with various teams. The engineer will be responsible for coming up with innovative back-end solutions and working independently. The company provides voice AI solutions to transform the customer experience. Job Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop highly scalable, highly available, reliable, secure, and fault-tolerant systems
  • Build and manage automated build/test/deployment environments
  • Build and research new tools and frameworks for internal use
  • Work with cross-functional teams to build efficient solutions
  • Constantly learn and experiment with new languages and technologies  
  • Take responsibility for multiple services maintained by the team

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a back-end engineer
  • Experience working with containers (Docker)
  • Experience working with any RDBMS like PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.
  • Prior experience in building microservices and event-driven architectures
  • Extensive experience working with either Python or Golang
  • Experience troubleshooting server performance - memory issues, GC tuning, resource leaks, etc.
  • Prior experience and skilled at designing and implementing low latency RESTful or GRPC services
