Job description

A rapidly-growing US-based company helping businesses reach their full market potential by linking up clients with those offering impressive solutions is looking for a Senior Back-End Engineer. The developer will be interfacing with the analytics, design, and back-end technologies to improve the company’s application. They have managed to raise more than $9 mn during the Series A round of funding. This will be a long-term, full-time role and a good opportunity for developers to work in a collaborative environment and experience career growth.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work with cross-functional teams to implement best practices in the technology and architecture
  • Guide and mentor other developers on the team and participate in regular knowledge sharing
  • Scale existing back-end systems to cope with increasing amounts of traffic and new product requirements
  • Contribute to the code management, quality, organization, automation, and ensure continuous delivery

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3 - 5+ years of relevant experience as a back-end engineer
  • Strong knowledge of Ruby on Rails, MongoDB, and Elasticsearch
  • Robust skills in object-oriented design and programming 
  • Fluency in English and excellent communication skills
  • Excellent collaboration and problem-solving skills
