Job description

A U.S.-based company that is developing a subscription-based e-commerce platform for merchants and direct-to-consumer brands, is looking for a Senior Back-End Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for ensuring the platform’s functionality, security, scalability, reapplication, and quality. The company is revolutionizing relationship commerce by cultivating client relations that bring in recurring income for the business and unrivaled convenience for the clients. The company has managed to secure more than $128mn in funding so far. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Fix tough engineering issues and promote scalability
  • Create and maintain platform features that enable internal and external engineers to develop features that are geared toward customers
  • Own the entire product or feature development process, including coming up with a solution, putting it into practice, ensuring it is of the highest caliber, and supporting its deployment and continuous maintenance in a live environment
  • Work together to improve and hone solutions with top engineering managers and architects

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a back-end engineer
  • Prolific experience working extensively with Python and Go/Golang
  • Great analytical and problem solving skills
  • Fluent in written and spoken English communication
