An NYSE-listed pharmaceutical behemoth that has successfully pioneered game-changing technology into the market for more than a century, is looking for a Senior Back-End Engineer. The engineer will be collaborating with the existing team to work on new product development from an upcoming platform project. The company is using advanced AI to discover and research lifesaving pharmaceutical drugs while manufacturing and distributing their healthcare products to customers across the world. Job Responsibilities:

Proactively tackle issues as they arise and resolve them efficiently
Build new features in collaboration with the product and design teams to address business demands and address issues
Take part in code reviews to produce reliable and maintainable code
Ensure that the services are scalable, modular, and flexible so that other engineers can use them

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a back-end engineer
Demonstrable experience working with Node.js and Azure
Some experience working with Python and Docker is desirable
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Fluent in spoken and written English
