Job description

A fast-emerging HR tech startup trusted by popular brands is looking to hire a Senior Back-End Developer. The developer will be responsible for developing modular, testable, and scalable software components for the platform. The company has spent 2 decades+ working with small businesses to create effective payroll and HR solutions while offering the most intuitive experience possible. Candidates who want to work in a fast-paced, challenging but rewarding environment are suitable for this role.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure code optimizations for performance and scalability
  • Research and develop new and emerging technologies
  • Contribute to team processes improvement by adhering to industry best practices and principles
  • Participate in regular code reviews and team knowledge-sharing activities

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant back-end engineering experience 
  • Proficiency in Typescript, Node.js, and DevOps
  • Expertise in React
  • Familiarity with objection.js
  • Good communication skills in English and ORM knowledge
