Job description

A U.S.-based edtech company transforming the educational system by building customized learning solutions for young kids is looking for a Senior Back-End Developer. The developer will take charge of all inbound calls, especially around the phone system, to support the sales operations. The company is dedicated to assisting students in achieving their educational and learning objectives by using the power of superior modern technologies. The company has managed to raise close to $110 mn in funding. This position requires 6+ hours of overlap with the PST and EST time zones. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support sales activities, particularly those using the phone system
  • Handle all inbound calls, as well as workforce management and sales operations
  • Combine front-end components with server-side logic and functionality
  • Collaborate effectively with product teams and engineering specialists to achieve product needs and provide new solutions

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 4+ years of relevant experience as a software developer
  • Knowledge of Python and Golang
  • Knowledge of DevOps is a plus
  • Experience with AWS or GCP is nice to have
  • Familiarity with Lambda is a plus
  • Proficiency in English
