Job description

A rapidly-growing company that assists its clients in streamlining the operation and management of their hybrid workspace is looking for a Senior Back-End Developer. The selected candidate will be responsible for generating high-quality, tested, effective, and reusable code. The company has created a workspace management platform that allows it to track and manage clients' day-to-day business activities from a single platform that works across all devices. The company has managed to raise close to $1.5 mn in funding. This position requires an overlap with the MST time zone. 


Job Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the entire application development lifecycle
  • To deliver solid apps, work with front-end developers, testers, QA leaders, and project managers
  • Define and convey technical and design specifications
  • Create code that is high-quality, tested, effective, and reusable
  • Create long-lasting and productive web apps using clean coding principles
  • Perform UI testing and tweak programs for improved performance
  • Implement best practices for security and data protection
  • Create and execute efficient data storage systems

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
  • 3+ years of experience with Laravel
  • 5+ years of experience with PHP
  • Knowledge of MySQL
  • Knowledge of JavaScript and Vue.js is a plus
  • Experience in writing RestAPIs is nice to have
  • Knowledge of the Stripe billing system is a plus
  • Knowledge of scheduling software is preferable
  • Experience with third-party APIs is desirable
  • Proficiency in English
