Job description

An emerging technology that aims to revolutionize financial crime risks and digital identity management is looking for a Senior Back-End Developer. The selected candidate will participate in all aspects of the software lifecycle, following the rules and procedures for testing and promoting code. The company is committed to providing end-users with ownership, transparency, and efficient control over their personal data while establishing a secure, centralized, and accountable infrastructure. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with colleagues from multiple teams and disciplines, bringing added value to the team
  • Ensure all code and development practices conform to team standards, company guidelines, and industry best practices
  • Be a model and mentor for writing well-architected, well-tested, and easy-to-understand code
  • Apply your unique perspective in defining and building the next generation of features and infrastructure needed to help customers and the team excel

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3-5+ years of relevant experience as a back-end engineer
  • Experience with building secure, performant APIs at an Enterprise scale
  • Comfortable handling complex data sets 
  • Understanding principles of scalability and concurrency 
  • Expertise in microservices architecture
  • Knowledge of FastAPI is nice to have
  • Core skills in front-end (JavaScript / Angular) and full-stack development will be a plus
  • Sound Machine Learning experience is nice to have
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
