Job description

A fast-growing company that is building the gold standard spec for customer data applications is looking for a Senior Back-End Developer. The selected candidate will be in charge of building the back-end for the application’s ecosystem and setting up the infrastructure. The company is dedicated to developing an easier way to create GTM actions on top of users' product activity. Job Responsibilities:

  • Architecture design and development of the APIs powering the app’s ecosystem
  • Take ownership of the microservice setup of the various back-end services hosting the applications
  • Maintain the server and database infrastructure in a SOC-2 compliant fashion
  • Maintain the required security protocols to store and process customer data
  • Ensure uptime of the services in response to scale demands is a core and challenging demand for this role
  • Own the back-end and infrastructure stack end-to-end
  • Understand the business use cases and map it to the best-in-class engineering systems while maintaining a great dev experience

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a back-end developer
  • 3+ years of industry experience building back-end systems
  • Extensive experience working with Golang and Python
  • Prolific experience working with AWS/GCP
  • Familiarity with the modern data stack 
  • Good understanding of Infrastructure-as-code tooling like Terraform
  • Knowledge of open-source technologies is nice to have
  • High level of attention to detail and excellent debugging and testing skills
  • Ability to think long-term with respect to the scalability of the platform
