Job description

A fast-growing company that is revolutionizing enterprise project execution and control applications, is looking for a Senior Back-End Developer. The selected candidate will be responsible for evolving the back-end ecosystem, building data products, and managing the platform. The company is building a single platform that combines all project functions and actors into one consolidated form. This will be a full-time role that requires some overlap with the US time zone. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement mission-critical components of the company’s NodeJS/Mongo/Postgres/Redis/Go infrastructure, which is hosted on Azure.
  • Add new features to the platform and improve its performance
  • Learn how the event-driven application platform is made possible by this architecture
  • Write, test, and deliver high-quality software to the clients
  • Be a part of a fast-paced, quality-driven, and customer-focused company
  • Learn about cutting-edge technology and business operations by building prototypes and gaining a thorough grasp of them

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 4+ years of relevant experience as a back-end developer
  • At least 4+ years of experience with Node.js
  • Extensive experience working with Azure, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL
  • Knowledge of Python, BASH, YAML, and JSON is nice to have
  • Familiarity with Go, Redis, RDBMS, and NoSQL
  • Ability to solve problems effectively
  • Experience developing SaaS platforms and applications
  • Prior experience working cross-functionally with a variety of teams is a plus
  • A strong understanding of data structures and algorithms, as well as scripting skills (Bash, Powershell, Python, etc.) is a bonus
