Senior Back-End Developer

A US-based revolutionary technology platform that allows users to engage in prediction games is looking for a Senior Back-End Developer. The developer will work side by side with the existing team of talented engineers to deliver stable, high-performance, real-time microservices. The real-time prediction platform is transforming the live event and gaming experience. This will be a full-time role that requires an overlap with the PST/EST time zone. It is a great opportunity for developers to work with industry veterans with previous experience at Apple, Amazon, Hulu, Cisco, and HQ Trivia.

Job Responsibilities:

• Work on upgrading and developing new features for responsive web apps
• Detect and troubleshoot bugs on existing products
• Work closely with team members to ensure smooth product delivery
• Maintain and improve existing features

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a back-end developer 
• Good understanding of the core components of a modern cloud application
• 1+ year(s) of experience with React, Typescript, AWS, and Python
• Nice to have some knowledge of serverless and PostgreSQL
• Excellent verbal and written communication with team members to help resolve ambiguity quickly
• Must be excited about continuous learning and open to feedback
• Fluent in English, verbal and written
