Job description

A fast-growing company developing a shipping intelligence platform for SMB e-commerce merchants is looking for a Laravel PHP Developer. The selected candidate will be tasked with scaling and optimizing the platform for maximum speed and scalability. The company's advanced technology is enabling businesses to gain better insight into shipping data through automation and analysis. Job Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the development of a shipping intelligence platform for SMB eCommerce retailers
  • Allow the organization to obtain a better understanding of its shipping data through automation and analysis
  • API integration, process automation, and optimization
  • A typical week will include the development of scalable code to process hundreds of millions of data points

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software developer
  • Knowledge of PHP and Laravel
  • Familiarity with MySQL
  • Knowledge of database design principles and software design patterns
  • Knowledge of APIs and OAuth systems is a plus
  • Familiarity with Redis is nice to have
  • Experience with Shipping Carrier APIs (FedEx, UPS, USPS, DHL) is a plus
  • Knowledge of e-commerce marketplace platforms (Shopify, eBay, Amazon, etc.) is nice to have
  • Proficiency in English
