Job description

A rapidly-growing company providing the foundation for the next generation of subscription e-commerce is looking for a Laravel Developer. The developer will be joining the company's product group to deliver a best-in-class experience to the merchants and their subscribers. The company has built its product from the ground up after tuning in to the needs of the fastest-growing brands in the e-commerce industry. It has raised more than $3.8mn during the Seed round of funding. The candidate will employ professionalism while working with other developers to accomplish results as a team and as an individual contributor.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage the needs of the product and achieve great results
  • Autonomously implement given ideas and guidelines
  • Deliver high-quality, scalable, and maintainable software
  • Define application objectives, features, and functionality
  • Write unit tests and build reusable codes and libraries for future use 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
  • Proficient experience working with PHP and Laravel framework
  • Experience working with a team to use Git as a version control system
  • Experience working with DevOps and implementing CI/CD pipelines
  • Solid understanding of PHP 8, Laravel 8, and AWS servers
  • Familiarity with Python and basic front-end using Livewire is desirable
  • Extensive experience with Shopify eCommerce APIs
  • Experience working with Docker and related tools like Compose and Machine
  • Must be professional, reliable, and can pay rapt attention to detail
