Job description

A US-based start-up providing API-based Blockchain as a service is looking for a Full-stack Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for designing and developing highly performant and scalable applications. The company is developing industry-leading products and has raised up to $2 mn in funding from top investors. This is a good opportunity for the candidate to join a talented team in solving challenges with a leading blockchain startup. This is a full-time, long-term position that requires at least 4 hours of time overlap with PST.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Work with cutting-edge technologies to foster solid engineering principles 
  • Utilize both technical and relational skills to lead large scale projects to completion
  • Collaborate, influence, and drive for improvement across teams
  • Develop and own high-quality code across all levels of the stack, with great visibility and impact across the organization
  • Model solid engineering practices around architectural design, testability, scalability, and maintainability
  • Work with modern technologies and frameworks such as React, Node.js, and GraphQL
  • Partner with product managers, designers, and other cross-functional stakeholders to align on requirements
  • Architect and implement new features and be a key contributor to the technical roadmap

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • Proficiency in React, Node.js, and GraphQL
  • Experience as a team lead is nice to have
  • Good sense of delivery and care for code quality
  • Prior experience working in a start-up environment
  • Familiarity with web architectures, spanning front-end and back-end components
