Fullstack Engineer

A high-growth residential brand specializing in using innovative solutions to bridge the gap between technology and real estate is looking for a Full-stack Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for driving the company’s core product forward and resolving complex, multi-faceted issues. The company provides customers with affordable traditional apartments and has raised over $100 mn in global venture capital investment. The brand is trusted for its intelligent design and quality, tech-powered property management. This will be a full-time role and requires 5+ hours overlap with the EST time zone. Job Responsibilities:

• Work actively on the core product, including front-end, testing, APIs, integrations, and backend services
• Maintain good working relations with the product managers, stakeholders, and designers, fostering deep empathy with the end-user
• Scale projects to completion by resolving complex issues, design, spec writing, mentoring, and writing simplified code 
• Maintain and grow the engineering culture and values that are beneficial to the whole team

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• 3+ years of relevant experience in one or more general-purpose programming languages such as JavaScript, Go, or Java
• Prolific experience in web application development using JavaScript and other front-end frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular
• Familiarity with the different testing phases (unit and integration testing)
• Solid understanding of programming patterns, software development principles, and domain-driven design
• Effective communication and collaborative skills
