Job description

A US-based company that is revitalizing the education sector is looking for a Full-stack Engineer. The engineer will work closely with the CTO, product manager and designer to lead the development of the product. The company empowers scholars and academics to build their own brand by nurturing a global audience and thereby creating a lasting impact on young minds. This is an excellent opportunity for developers to polish their skills by joining an experienced and ambitious team. This role requires a minimum 6 hours overlap with the PST time zone.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Take charge of planning, designing, and executing end-to-end web architectures
  • Work alongside cross-functional teams for delivering high-quality solutions
  • Develop highly scalable, responsive, and well-documented products
  • Work with a holistic and test-oriented approach for troubleshooting, debugging and upgrading software

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of experience as full-stack engineer or related position
  • Proficient with technologies: Ruby on Rails and React
  • Nice to have some experience working with Typescript
  • Experience in testing software applications is desirable
  • In-depth knowledge of large systems, complex code bases, and version control systems such as Git
  • Fluency in English communication: both written and oral
