The engineer will be responsible for planning, designing, modifying and executing end-to-end web architecture. The company is a fans-only style social-media platform where creators have the ability to post video content, get discovered, and engage with fans. Job Responsibilities:

  • Take charge of planning, designing, and building end-to-end web architecture
  • Actively collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop efficient products
  • Build easily scalable, responsive, and well-documented stacks
  • Use a holistic, test-oriented approach to troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade software applications

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years of experience as a full-stack engineer
  • Must have 2 years of professional experience with front-end JavaScript frameworks and back-end JavaScript (Node.js, Express.js, etc)
  • Familiarity with component based development and technologies like React, Angular, Vue.js, or any other equivalent library will be a huge bonus
  • Must be well-versed with concepts like concurrency, database, and message queuing
  • Should have expertise in Google Cloud Platform
  • Knowledge of NoSQL databases (Mongo/ Firebase) is an advantage
  • Must have experience in building robust and performant REST APIs
  • Prior experience in scaling websites and/or a mobile app to large user bases
  • Prior experience working with social media or video technologies will be an added advantage
  • Must be familiar with JS testing (Jest, Enzyme, Appium, etc.)
  • Strong interpersonal skills with fluency in English
