Job description

A UK-based firm that provides financial services to high-growth startups, is looking for a Full-stack Engineer. The engineer will be tasked with helping the existing team to roll out the free version of the current product and contribute to the overall growth of the company. The company’s smart software has helped establish financial growth to growing businesses of all sizes, from pre-revenue startups to SMEs with revenues of up to £5m. This role requires some time overlap with the London time zone.

 

 Job Responsibilities:

  • Work on planning, designing, and executing end-to-end web architecture
  • Work alongside cross-functional teams for delivering high-quality products
  • Develop highly scalable, responsive, and well-documented stacks
  • Perform troubleshooting and debugging tasks for software upgrades using a test-oriented approach
  • Work independently to produce impactful and profitable results
  • Communicate with different teams for removing development-related blockers

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years of experience working as a full-stack engineer 
  • Should have in-depth knowledge of Laravel 8 and PHP
  • Knowledge of Vue.js is preferable 
  • Knowledge of one or more front-end technologies is preferred
  • Proven experience of working with back-end technologies will be a bonus
  • Working knowledge of DBMS such as MySQL, Oracle DB, PostgreSQL, among others
  • Fluency in English and solid communication skills are a must
