Job description

The largest peer-to-peer decentralized marketplace for blockchain-based crypto goods or digital assets, is looking for a Full-stack Engineer. The selected candidate will be responsible for spearheading the full-stack features for the company’s marketplace. The company is backed by major investors such as Coinbase Ventures, 1Confirmation, Blockchain Capital, etc. and has managed to raise $100 mn in their Series B funding. This is a nice opportunity for candidates to showcase their skills while rubbing shoulders with industry veterans.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Take charge of the products from designs and specifications to live deployments
  • Articulate a long term technical direction and vision for maintaining and scaling the web and mobile platforms
  • Build out well-tested back-end systems for serving the core marketplace feature
  • Develop and ship user-facing features using component-based UI frameworks
  • Encourage and bring positive energy in every meeting, and make your coworkers feel included during every interaction
  • Mentor and train other team members on the latest design techniques and coding standards
  • Create trustworthy user experiences by building interfaces that are simple, easy to comprehend, performant and reliable using modern tools

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack engineer
  • Must have prolific experience with React, Typescript, and GraphQL
  • Must have an enthusiasm for building and scaling feature-rich, well-tested, and polished applications using a modern technology stack
  • Capable of writing high quality, well tested code
  • Must be up-to-date with current trends and best practices in front-end architecture, including performance, security and usability
  • Must be familiar with product and design life cycles, and collaborating closely with designers, engineers, and product managers
